Mandai Orchid Garden, A Wonderful Getaway

The Mandai Orchid Garden was initiated by John Laycock in the year 1951; Laycock was also the founder of the Orchid Society of Southeast Asia (OSSEA). The Mandai Orchid Garden every year draws over 200, 000 visitors to its pristine gardens and flowers.

Attractions at the Mandai Orchid Garden include the Vintage Garden, Orchid Propagation Garden, Propagation Garden, Gazebo, Water Garden, Herbs and Spices, Tropical fruit Orchard and the Flora and Fauna found in the gardens.

The Mandai Orchid Garden is also an ideal spot for corporate events and weddings and numerous such events are booked at the gardens. The Mandai Orchid Garden has held events such as the Corporate Seminar, the International Olympic Council Guest Mrs. Rogge, Singapore Food Festival 2005 Culinary Class and the Singapore Food Festival 2005 Media Preview.
